The Home was Dedicated in Honor of Vince Balakier

A former refugee from Kosovo, Heset was excited to get this new flag flying over his home.

Safety Harbor Mayor Andy Steingold welcomes Heset Xhokli to the new home. The city donated the land for the home, making it possible for the family to stay in an area they have found to be their "safe harbor."

The home was dedicated in honor of volunteer Vince Balakier (right) pictured with Norm Bungard. Vince recalled working on almost every Habitat Pinellas home.

The oldest and youngest daughters plan on being roommates.

Homeowners Heset and Ilfije Xhokli receive the keys to their new home from HfHPC Board Chair Jacqui Hosman.

The Xhokli's only son is excited to no longer be sharing a room with his sisters.
