Building
Dreams Auction
September 2006
An evening of food, refreshments and fun,
the Building Dreams Auction was a great success thanks to the auction
committee and all of the enthusiastic bidders. Congrats to our
supporters for helping us to raise almost $35,000 this year. And special
thanks to our auction sponsors: St. Petersburg Times, Sembler, Catalina
Marketing, ProVise and Eastern Financial Federal Credit Union.

Art Institute of Tampa Culinary Management students prepare the
food for the evening.

Youth United and St. Pete High students help set up the event. |

The culinary students donated their time and talents to make
this years' event a success. They even baked and decorated a
Habitat gingerbread house, which was given to the highest bidder
of the evening. |

Items like this Asian Chow table
were a big hit, especially with these bidders. |

Auction items were donated by local businesses and community
members. All the money raised goes to support Pinellas Habitat. |

Items were divided into three sections. Each time a section was
about to close, the bidding wars really heated up. |

Executive Director Barbara Inman greets the crowd before the
start of the silent auction. |
