Volunteer
Get Involved in a Mission that Will Change Lives -- Including YOURS!
What makes Habitat’s mission unique? You do! Volunteer opportunities make it possible for thousands of people to get active in our community and make a difference in the lives of children and families. Building a new home (or a remodel) takes time and money, but seeing a family get the keys to a home you helped build is inspiring. Come out and volunteer. Come make a difference. To make your experience even more meaningful, we encourage all volunteers to attend a Nuts & Bolts Orientation.
Volunteer Information
Info About Volunteering On a Build Site
Construction volunteers help with almost every aspect of the building process. No experience is necessary. We provide the training and the tools. Job sites are open 8:00 am to 2:30 pm and are located throughout Pinellas County. You can commit to one day or help build an entire house. Check out the Volunteer Signup Calendar.
Building together builds lasting memories. Group opportunities range from a commitment of just one day to a commitment of completing an entire house. Your group can make a big impact and help address the need for decent housing, while providing a rewarding volunteer experience.

Nuts & Bolts Orientation
This is the official welcome to Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County where you'll meet other volunteers and supporters (and often a homeowner candidate.) In one hour, you’ll find out how and why we do what we do. This orientation is not required to volunteer, but it's a great way to learn about Habitat Pinellas and truly understand how your contribution, of time or money, is building a better community.
