Whether you're a seasoned homebuilder or you've never
touched a tool, you can have fun putting your best skills to work or learning new ones.

Become a Habitat construction volunteer . . .

Construction volunteers help with almost every aspect of the building process. No experience is necessary. We provide the training and the tools.
Most job sites are open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and are located throughout Pinellas County.
If you are under 18 years of age, complete the Youth Volunteer Response Form with a parent or guardian signature. Mail or fax the completed form to the Habitat Office. You will be notified when you can utilize the sign-up page.

Bring a group to Habitat . . .

Many churches, businesses, and organizations organize groups o f volunteers to help build Habitat homes.

Here is what you need to do:

Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@phfh.org or call (727)536-4755 ext. 208 or 727-776-2986 (cell).
Set a date and complete the Group Information Form.
Begin recruiting. The minimum group size is 6. The maximum is 20. Individuals in the group must complete the Volunteer Response Form.
One week prior to your date, you will be assigned a construction site.

We have been utilizing a new on-line registration system since January.

HABITAT OUTLET

WHAT:	Volunteers help with stocking and inventory, and assisting customers at our resale store, which is open to the public. Some heavy lifting required. Volunteers must arrange date in advance with the Volunteer Coordinator.
WHEN:	Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) - Especially Mondays & Fridays

Habitat has some coming projects and activities where we have need for help beyond our typical construction volunteers. We hope you can help.

Site Hosts Opportunities available each week

Do you want to help at a construction site, but you situation restricts your participation? This could be a perfect alternative. We are looking for individuals to help check in volunteers at each job site. Site Hosts work from 7:45 to 9:00 A.M. at each site we have open. They assist volunteers in completing the Volunteer Response Form and assure that each volunteer signs the log-in sheet.
