What's it all about?
Through Youth United,
young people (ages 5-25) will raise all of the money for a house and older youth
(ages 16-25) will build it! Right now, Pinellas Habitat for Humanity is pulling
together a team of dedicated young people to provide another simple, decent home
for a family in our community who is currently living in sub-standard
conditions.
Why should I
get involved?
Youth
United is a wonderful way for
you and other young people you know to contribute to the community, while
working together in service with those less fortunate. More than just a
volunteer opportunity, Youth United is an investment in Pinellas
County.
What's
involved?
Fundraising and
building a house is no small feat, and Pinellas Habitat for Humanity will be
on hand to work with Youth
United members to ensure their
success and assist in any manner possible. We have several fun and easy
fundraising ideas that we can share!
Sounds
interesting, how can I get involved?
There are numerous ways for young people to
participate in Youth United and to be a part of what we do at
Pinellas Habitat for Humanity. Our volunteer coordinator would welcome the
opportunity to brainstorm ideas with you and your group.
